Peppers, who has been a key player for the Patriots, is also facing charges of assault and battery and possession of a Class B drug, believed to be cocaine.

Coach Jerod Mayo mentioned during a press call on Monday that the team is still gathering details regarding Peppers’ arrest and will make decisions based on that information. He added that the matter has been discussed with the team, and for the time being, Peppers is permitted to access the Patriots’ facilities.
“We don’t know enough to say he shouldn’t be in the building,” the coach said.
