En esta edición de los SAG Awards , celebrados el 19 de enero de 2020, Joaquin Phoenix y Renée Zellweger se llevaron los premios de mejor actor y actriz por Joker y Judy respectivamente en los SAG, un termómetro importante para el Oscar.
Uno de los aspectos que se llevó los reflectores esta noche, fue el encuentro entre Jennifer Aniston y Brad Pitt quienes, tuvieron un reencuentro, además de llevarse los galardones en los que estaban nominados.
Cabe destacar que Robert De Niro, recibió el premio “Life Achievement” (“Logros de una vida”) de este año por sus éxitos performativos y filantrópicos a lo largo de sus 54 años de carrera.
